How to Request Account Deletion
Users of the Udyami mobile application can request deletion of their account profile and data. To submit a request, please follow these steps:
- Method 1: Log in to the Udyami mobile app, open the Profile Settings screen, scroll to the bottom, and tap “Delete My Account”.
- Method 2: Send a formal account deletion request from your registered email address to support@mantechstudio.in, detailing your name, group name, and registered phone number.
What Information is Deleted?
Upon successful validation of your deletion request, the following information is permanently erased from our active databases:
- Your personal user profile (Name, registered email address, password hash, and phone number).
- Associated login session histories and device tokens.
- Any localized transcription logs and user activity metrics associated with your user ID.
What Information May Be Retained?
Please note that as a community-based record system, group ledgers and financial transactions are shared resources of the entire Self Help Group (SHG) or cooperative. To preserve the auditing integrity of the group:
- Shared Transaction Ledgers: Any group savings deposits, loan repayment journals, or meeting minutes recorded under your name will remain intact, but will be anonymized (i.e., personal identifier tokens will be removed, showing the record under “Anonymized Member”).
- Regulatory Auditing Logs: Any verified banking linkage reports or compliance registry details must be retained to meet statutory financial audit parameters.
Data Retention Periods
Account deletion requests are processed manually within 7 to 10 business days of receipt. Anonymized ledger entries and regulatory reports are retained in accordance with local Indian cooperative and information technology acts, typically up to 7 years for tax auditing compliance.
