If a code is missing from GET /api/v1/hsn/{code}, does that mean the code is invalid?

No. GET /api/v1/hsn/{code} and /api/v1/hsn/search use a ManTech-curated catalog. A miss means the code is not in this dataset, not official confirmation that the code is invalid. It is not a complete CBIC schedule and not live tax law. SAC is a separate curated Chapter 99 catalog.
